Organics Recycling for a Sustainable Future

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide an environmentally responsible and sustainable solution for the disposal of organic wastes. We achieve our mission by diverting valuable organics from landfills and turning them into beneficial compost used to restore depleted soils—thus ensuring they maintain a sustainable future. Our mission supports organizations looking to achieve their own Zero Waste-to-Landfill or Carbon Reduction sustainability goals.

Our Unique Finished Products

We produce exceptional compost with an abundant population of diverse and beneficial micro-organisms that can be used directly as a top dress for agriculture applications to enhance soil properties (Ferti-Comp®). Through our network of companies we add further value though additional processing and mixing with other soil materials to create a diverse range of soil amendments, custom-blended potting soils, engineered soils, and specialty products for a wide variety of needs. We are proud members of the United States Composting Council and participants in the Seal of Testing Assurance (STA) Program. Visit our other sites to see all we can offer.

THE SCIENCE AND BENEFITS OF COMPOSTING

Composting is a controlled, aerobic (oxygen-driven) process that breaks down organic materials into base nutrients, nitrogen, and carbon. The end-product is compost—a dark, earthy-smelling humus-like organic matter that contains a diverse population of beneficial microorganisms. Often fondly referred to by farmers as “black gold,” it reduces water usage, lessens dependence on chemical fertilizers, delivers valuable plant nutrients, improves the microbial ecology of soil and so much more.
